The Ginger is a trendy, medium-sized crossbody bag that is a very quick sew, and has been designed for beginners. This bag features a flap closure, exterior zipper pocket, adjustable crossbody strap, an interior slip pocket, and is fully lined. This bag can be made with canvas or quilting cottons, but can also be made using cork fabric or vinyl for the contrast fabric. The finished size is 11" wide, 10" high, and 3" deep. The hardware required for this pattern includes one snap closure, two D-rings, two swivel hooks, one slider buckle, a 10" zipper, and with optional rivets.

The cost of the class includes five hours of instruction in a small group setting, use of classroom machines, tools, and threads, and the pattern. Fabric and hardware is not included, but can be purchased at the shop for a 20% discount. Fabric requirements for this bag include:
1/4yd Exterior Main
3/8yd Exterior Contrast
1/2yd Lining
Up to 1/2yd of interfacing, fusible fleece, and or foam stabilizer based on bag structure preferences
