Zakka Sewn is the latest book from artist and fabric designer, Rashida Coleman-Hale. Laura is hosting a series of classes from this highly anticipated book. This month, she is teaching the Half Moon Oven Mitt. This project is a great project to practice quilting and minimal binding. With minimal pieces and seams, this oven mitt whips together fast!

Attendees of this class need to already own or purchase the Zakka Sewn book for the pattern. A 20% discount on the book will be given to those who buy the book from the shop.

The Half Moon Oven Mitt finishes around 6" x 6.5"

Level: Comfortable Beginner
This is a beginner-friendly class, however, the curves of the oven mitt can serve as an extra challenge for those who struggle with accurate seam allowances. This project also requires a small amount of quilting.
