Join Joel to make the versatile Mondo Bag by Quiltsmart. Learn to use the printed interfacing to build a great bag that you can use for carrying quilts, overnight trips, beach trips or as a toy bag.

Level: Confident Beginner
You need to be able to make a bobbin and properly thread your machine, and follow seam allowances. We will provide a quick review of the Bernette sewing machines in our classroom at the beginning of class, so no worries if you are a little rusty on the machines. You will use an iron to create your bag design on the interfacing provided in the pattern.

Price: $100.00
This includes the pattern, interfacing, six hours of instruction in a small group setting, and use of our machines and equipment in the classroom. You will need to provide (192) 2 1/2 squares of quilting cotton fabric for the outside of the bag and 1 1/2 yards of quilting weight cotton for the lining. This is a great project for raiding your stash. Or stop by the shop to check out all of the new fabrics we have. You receive a 20% discount on fabric purchased in the shop for this class.

In case of cancellation by us, you may choose to be refunded or receive store credit for the amount paid at the time of registration and use the credit towards a future class within 6 months.
