Are you interested in learning to sew garments, or refreshing your sewing skills, but nervous to jump right in on a big project? Are you interested in getting started on some great Christmas presesnts? Aprons are great for learning to adapt patterns to different sizes because they are pretty forgiving in their final design.

Time: Saturday, June 13, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

This is a good class for developing your skills as a confident beginner. If you know how to sew a straight line, can follow a seam allowance, and have recent experience using a sewing machine, you are ready for this class. We will briefly review the use of the sewing machines in our classroom at the beginning of class. 

Class cost is $65. This includes five hours of instruction in a small group setting, use of our machines and equipment in the classroom, and a copy of the pattern of your choice. You will need to purchase the fabric for the apron.

The apron paper recommends one yard each of two different 42" wide cotton fabrics. One yard is for one side of the apron, the other yard is for the reverse side. NOTE: We recommend 1.5 yards per fabric to give sufficient fabric to adjust the pattern to your particular size. You will receive 20% off your fabric if purchased at the shop.

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations or rescheduling must be made no less than 48 hours before the first class in this series. In case of cancellation by us, you may choose to be refunded or receive store credit for the amount paid at the time of registration. No refunds or rescheduling for students who do not show.
