Level: Confident Beginner
Despite this looking like an advanced block, beginners are welcome! However, attendees should be confident and comfortable using a sewing unassisted and should have recent experience completing projects on a sewing machine.

This includes three of the applique pattern sheets, (more can be purchased from Barky at $1.50 each), six hours of instruction in a small group setting, and use of our machines and equipment in the classroom. 

For this project, you will need:

- 6-7 coordinating fat quarters
- Roxanne glue -baste-it with fine tip
- Sewline fabric glues stick or any kind of fabric
glue stick
- Silicon applique sheet you can see through
and press on.
- Sharp small scissors
- Pencil
- Monofliment thread
- 2 20x20 backround fabrics. One will be for the
front of the block and the other is the back
- Working sewing machine in good condition that
can do a zig zag stitch
- Open toe foot
- Pins
- Baky will supply pattern printed on applique

Pins, sewing machines, clear feet, pencils, and Teflon/silicon sheets to share will be in the classroom for use. Supplies not in the classroom can be purchased from the shop or sourced elsewhere. Fabrics purchased for this class will receive a 20% discount.

Time: Saturday, June 27, 2026, 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

There will not be a designated lunch break. Feel free to bring lunch, snacks and beverages. There is a small fridge that can be used if needed. Food and drink are welcome in the classroom as long as the machine, supplies, and merchandise are being respected. Please keep lids on drinks.

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations or rescheduling must be made no later than 48 hours before the beginning of class. We reserve the right to cancel class due to low enrollment. In case of cancellation by us, you may choose to be refunded or receive store credit for the amount paid at the time of registration. No refunds or rescheduling for students who do not show or cancel withing 48 hours of the beginning of class.
