Make an entire quilt from beginning to end in Laura's Learn to Quilt - Eight Week Series. We'll be making the beginner-friendly Yellow Brick Road quilt from Atkinson Designs. 

Level: Confident Beginner on Up 
I learned to sew by learning to quilt! This class welcomes the very beginners. If you have never used a sewing machine before, I ask that you take class prior to learn the basics of a sewing machine, but newbies are welcome. This class is also perfect for the confident sewist who is ready to test the waters of quilting. 

Price: $250.00
The cost of the class includes sixteen + hours of instruction in a small group setting, use of our sewing studio, machines, tools, and the pattern. You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine, however, we have six sewing machines and special sewing machine feet for this project in the shop classroom. This class will require "homework" in order to be completed in the timeframe. If you do not own a sewing machine, you can can rent time on our machines for a discounted class hourly rate.
Fabric is not included in the price of the class. Should you purchase fabric from the shop, you'll receive 20% off. Though you can make whichever size you want, I recommend making the baby size (48" x 57") of this quilt which calls for six fat quarters for the top, 1 & 3/8 yard for border and binding, and three yards of backing.

Time: Mondays, 5:30pm - 7:30pm., July, 13th, 20th, 27th, August 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, (two week break) and finishing up on September 14th. 
Note: we do not offer make-ups for series unless there is something that causes a cancellation of the class. Should you need to skip a class, ask the instructor for options.

August 10th - Cutting & Piecing Border
August 17th  - Basting
August . 24th - Quilting

Fine Print: Payments must be made in advance to secure your spot. Each attendee requires their own registration. This class is geared for adults age 18 and up. Registrants will receive an email from hello@chateausew.com shortly (about a week) before class. Please monitor your spam and junk folders to avoid missing the email. If you think you have been missed, please do not hesitate to reach out to the shop.
Cancellation Policy: All cancellations or rescheduling must be made no later than 48 hours before the beginning of class. We reserve the right to cancel class due to low enrollment. In case of cancellation by us, you may choose to be refunded or receive store credit for the amount paid at the time of registration. No refunds or rescheduling for students who do not show or cancel withing 48 hours of the beginning of class.
