Join Laura for this three-day class on Friday, July 17th from 5:30pm - 8:30pm, Saturday, July 18th from 3pm to 7pm, and Sunday, July 19th 12pm - 3pm  to create the Pietra Pants & Shorts pattern from Closet Core Patterns. This pattern is made for the confident beginner, and is an ideal project that can be made again and again as skills and confidence increase.

Level: Confident Beginner 

This is a good class for developing your skills in garment-making from a pattern as a confident beginner. If you know how to sew a straight line, can follow a seam allowance, and have recent experience using a sewing machine, you are ready for this class. You will need to come to class with your fabric purchased and laundered! We will spend our first evening tracing and cutting out our pattern pieces from our fabric. If you do not finish your cutting, you will need to complete this on your own before class the next day. On Saturday, we hit the ground running with sewing our pieces together. If you are not familiar with reading garment patterns to determine your size, fabric requirement, or how to trace your pattern, consider signing up for a private lesson, or taking a Pattern Prep: What to Know Before You Sew lecture-style class if available.

Price: $105.00
This includes seven+ hours of instruction in a small group setting, use of our machines and equipment in the classroom. The pattern and fabric will need to be purchased separately. You will receive a 20% discount if bought from Chateau Sew. The fabric requirements for this pattern range from 1.25 yards to 4 yards depending on size, width of fabric, and view that is being made. This pattern includes US sizes 0 to 20.  Should you need to extended sizes 14 - 32, please reach out to Laura!
This pattern also requires:

• 2” (50mm) wide elastic, knit or woven (1 yd / .9m)
• Lightweight non-stretch fusible interfacing (.25 yd / .25m)
• Polyester thread
• Marking tool

There will not be a dedicated food-breaks. Feel free to bring snacks, food, beverages, etc. Drinks MUST have a lid on them. Attendees are free to step out, get food, touch grass, etc.

Fine Print: Payments must be made in advance to secure your spot. Each attendee requires their own registration. This class is geared for adults age 18 and up. Registrants will receive an email from hello@chateausew.com shortly (about a week) before class. Please monitor your spam and junk folders to avoid missing the email. If you think you have been missed, please do not hesitate to reach out to the shop.
Cancellation Policy: All cancellations or rescheduling must be made no later than 48 hours before the beginning of class. We reserve the right to cancel class due to low enrollment. In case of cancellation by us, you may choose to be refunded or receive store credit for the amount paid at the time of registration. No refunds or rescheduling for students who do not show or cancel withing 48 hours of the beginning of class.
