Join Laura on Thursday, July 30th from 5:30pm - 8pm to make this elevated Zippered Pouch. This project is perfect for beginner sewists, who are comfortable with a sewing machine, and are ready to advance beyond simply sewing straight lines. It's also a great project for the knowledgeable sewist who wants another cute and quick project to add to their repertoire. 

Level: Comfortable Beginner
In this class, Laura will have the machines threaded and fabric cut out so that all you have to do is focus on sewing. You will learn to change between the zipper foot and other sewing machine feet. You should be comfortable using and threading a sewing machine, and sewing using a consistent seam allowance. You will be asked to choose your fabrics ahead of time as they will be cut out and ready for you to sew.

The cost of the class includes two and a half hours of instruction in a small group setting, use of our sewing studio and tools, and supplies to make a single zip pouch. You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine, if you prefer.

Snacks and beverages are allowed in the classroom but we ask that you pay appropriate attention to avoid spills. Please respect the classroom, tools, and other attendees. Beverages MUST have a lid.

Fine Print: Payments must be made in advance to secure your spot. Each attendee requires their own registration. This class is geared for adults age 18 and up. Registrants will receive an email from hello@chateausew.com shortly (about a week) before class. I will be asking you to pick your fabrics out ahead of time so that we can get to sewing upon your arrival. Please monitor your spam and junk folders to avoid missing the email. If you think you have been missed, please do not hesitate to reach out to the shop. If Laura does not hear back from you regarding your fabric choices, she will make an executive decision for the fabrics for your zip pouch. 
Cancellation Policy: All cancellations or rescheduling must be made no later than 48 hours before the beginning of class. We reserve the right to cancel class due to low enrollment. In case of cancellation by us, you may choose to be refunded or receive store credit for the amount paid at the time of registration. No refunds or rescheduling for students who do not show or cancel withing 48 hours of the beginning of class.
