The Silly Goose pattern from Woolly Petals has been around for a while, and I have been eye-balling it. Is it necessary? No. Is it whimsical? Yes. Do I want to make a million of them? Absolutely.

Level: Comfortable Beginner 

The Silly Goose class is for adults 18+. We will exercise our ability to sew accurate seam allowances, follow order-of-operations, assemble pattern pieces, and think outside the box. The final steps are to stuff the goose and hand sew the opening, which will likely need to be done at home. If you do not plan to use scraps for stuffing or to purchase the fiberfil from the shop, please bring to class to fill the legs. If you want to make your goose patchwork, quilted, or other variation, you may need to come with your panels to be cut already pieced or quilted, respectively.

- 5.5 hours of instruction in a small group setting
- Use of our classroom machines, equipment and space
- Batting for the wings
- a copy of the Woolly Petals Pattern
- A 20% discount on required materials not included in class.

Requirements:
This goose requires: For 20" Goose (or 16" goose)
Quilting Cotton:
Body: 3/4yd (2/3yd)
Wings: 1/4d (either size)
Feet & Beak: 1/yd (either size)
Legs (optional): 6"x8" (5"x7")
Eyes : Buttons, black felt, or fabric that does not fray
Interfacing: 1/4yd (potentially more if interfacing the body)
Stuffing: 12 - 16oz bag of polyfill
Thread that matches body and eyes

Time: Wednesday & Thursday, September 30th & October 1st, 5:45pm to 8:30pm.
Snacks & drinks are allowed in the classroom, but beverages must have a lid that closes. There is not a designated lunch break. Attendees should take a break when they need.

Fine Print: Payments must be made in advance to secure your spot. Each attendee requires their own registration. This class is geared for adults age 18 and up. Registrants will receive an email from hello@chateausew.com shortly (about a week) before class. Please monitor your spam and junk folders to avoid missing the email. If you think you have been missed, please do not hesitate to reach out to the shop.
Cancellation Policy: All cancellations or rescheduling must be made no later than 48 hours before the beginning of class. We reserve the right to cancel class due to low enrollment. In case of cancellation by us, you may choose to be refunded or receive store credit for the amount paid at the time of registration. No refunds or rescheduling for students who do not show or cancel withing 48 hours of the beginning of class.
