Are you wanting to take a garment class with us that requires your pieces cut out? This two-hour private lesson will assist you in the necessary steps of reading your pattern, and have your pieces cut and ready to bring to class. This lesson is highly suggested before signing up for any garment sewing classes if it requires pieces to be cut or somewhat assembled before class. 

When you purchase a private lesson online, we will see your order come through in our system. We will reach out to you in whatever form of contact you have provided upon check out to schedule a time and teacher we believe will work best for you. We prefer to teach during shop hours (Monday, & Wednesday through Friday from 10am to 5:30 pm). Saturdays and Evenings are available for lessons, but are harder to come by as we are a small staff and require two employees in the shop in order to teach a lesson, and run the front of the store.

You are welcome, and even encouraged to bring your own sewing machines to learn on, but we do have Bernette B37 sewing machines in our classroom for you to use. 

We do not teach students younger than 7 years of age.

Should you need to reschedule your lesson, you must inform us before the close of business day before your lesson is scheduled. Same-day reschedules are subject to a Rescheduled Lesson fee. "Same-Day" is considered 5:30pm or later than the preceding business day to your lesson. No-shows are not refunded or rescheduled. Lessons must be used within 3 months of purchase.
